LIEBHERR Crane Track Pads Daily Maintenance:
- Wear monitoring
Use calipers to measure the thickness of track shoes, and one side is worn more than 15% of the original thickness, need to be replaced.
Check the height of track pads teeth, wear more than 30% need to be repaired or replaced.
- Cracks and deformation
Inspect the bottom plate body by visual or magnetic particle inspection, and stop using it immediately if a crack > 5mm in length is found.
Use a ruler to detect the flatness of the track shoes, and the bending deformation > 3mm/m needs to be corrected or replaced.
- Floor plates cleaning
After the shutdown, remove the gravel and metal chips stuck between the flat track pads in time to prevent abnormal stress concentration.
After working in corrosive environments, rinse with fresh water and spray with anti-rust oil.
